We are a long-standing, independent organisation which offers research, consulting and services in occupational and environmental health, asbestos services, workplace hygiene and risk. IOM works for a range of clients ranging from public limited companies, SMEs, Government agencies (e.g. HSE, DEFRA, HPA) and industry associations. IOM hosts SAFENANO, the leading UK provider of information and services on nanotechnology risk.

IOM has three regional offices in the UK (Edinburgh, Stafford and Chesterfield) and a presence in Southeast Asia with the opening of IOM Singapore in 2012. IOM employs around 120 staff who help deliver safer working environments and healthier working lives for thousands of organisations around the world.
