Global dynamic model of transcriptional regulation in budding yeast
We generated over 200 timecourses in which a single yeast transcriptional regulator was abruptly induced, and full transcriptome differential expression was tracked across 6–10 timepoints. Such timecourses generally feature the near-immediate strong induction of the inducer-driven regulator of interest, followed by rapid changes in genes that are directly regulated by these regulators, and later changes of indirectly regulated genes.
