Hui Zheng is an associate professor of sociology at The Ohio State University. He is a demographer, ​social epidemiologist, and quantitative social scientist. He was a consulting editor at American Journal of Sociology, and served in the editorial boards of Journal of Health and Social Behavior and Journal of Marriage and Family. He is currently an advisory editor of Social Science Research and a council member of medical sociology section of American Sociological Association. Zheng obtained PhD from Duke University in 2011.
