Associate Professor in Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University
Havovi Chichger is currently working as an Associate Professor in Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University. She holds expertise in Cell and Molecular Biology , Health and wellbeing , Vision and eye research. Her research mainly focuses on cellular mechanisms which regulate the endothelium in human disease. She was awarded funding from Diabetes UK (early career award), recruited to grant review panels for both American Heart Association and National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
Havovi earned her doctorate in physiology from University College London, which focused on studying the role of renal and small intestinal glucose transport across the epithelium in metabolic syndrome and diabetes. She received postdoctoral training in researching mechanisms which regulate vascular biology from Brown University.
