Professor Gill Livingston is a clinical academic at University College London, specializing in dementia care and research. She leads interdisciplinary projects to prevent and delay dementia, focusing on underserved communities. As chair of the Lancet Standing Commission on Dementia Prevention, her work has influenced global dementia policy, including in the UK and US. She researches interventions improving the lives of people with dementia, their families, and caregivers. Her START program helps family carers reduce depression and anxiety. She also leads the ENHANCE study, which aims to boost cognition in older, underserved populations.
