Association of Genetics and Personalized Medicine (AGMP) was launched in 2019, by a group of Romanian specialists in genetics, with the aim of improving the research and promotion framework of human genetics and stimulating the practical application of discoveries in the field for the diagnosis and precision treatment of patients and the improvement public health.

We launched the association in response to the need for a deeper understanding of current advances in genetics and personalized medicine for medical professionals, patients and authorities.

Through collaboration, partnerships and communication  with interested groups, AGMP carries out programs, projects, studies, courses, professional events that ensure access and disseminate quality scientific information to both specialists and patients and other relevant parties. Through our own or reference publications and through national, pan-European media channels, we want to contribute to the promotion and development of this avant-garde field in medicine for the benefit of increasing the quality of medical care.
