Program Director at the NIH National Institute on Neurological Disorders and Stroke
Francesca Bosetti is a Program Director in the NIH National Institute on Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Previously, she worked as a Principal investigator and the Head of the Molecular Neuroscience Unit at the National Institute on Aging. Bosetti received her Pharm.D. from the University of Pisa and her Ph.D. in Molecular and Experimental Medicine from Sant' Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. Her research interests focused on basic and translational research on ischemic stroke, neuroprotection, stroke repair and recovery, and blood-brain barrier.
