Dr Filipe Barata is a senior researcher at ETH Zurich and senior director of AI and Digital Biomarker Research at the Centre for Digital Health Interventions.
His research is focused on exploring the potential of mobile technologies, such as wearable sensors, mobile apps, social networks and location tracking technologies, for monitoring and self-management of healthy or chronically ill people, also known as “digital biomarkers” in the relevant literature.
