Elissa Welle is a PhD student in the department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Michigan. Her research work is focused mainly on the development of ultrasmall neural interfaces for the brain, dorsal root ganglia, and peripheral nerves.

She completed BS from Cornell University and MS in Biomedical Engineering from University of Michigan.
