The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) is a research institute located in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). IHBT aims to boost the bioeconomy through the sustainable utilization of Himalayan bioresources. The institute conducts research on various aspects related to bioresources found in the Himalayan region, including plants, microbes, and other natural resources.
