CLOi SuitBot

Wearable robot designed to support lower body.

Originally debuted in Berlin, the LG CLOi SuitBot has been updated for an appearance at CES. The wearable bot is designed to support the lower body and augment the wearer's own muscles when lifting and lowering heavy loads. It enables 50-degree extension and 90-degree flexion of the waist, activating when a 65-degree angle is reached, and disengaging when upright. Lasting for up to four hours per charge, it would be more of a task-specific rather than an all-day device, but that could change prior to commercial release.
