Clifford Steer, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota. He is also a faculty member in several graduate programs, including Integrative Biology, Physiology, Stem Cell Biology, and Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Steer specializes in regenerative medicine and has had a distinguished career in hepatology, beginning with a fellowship at the NIH, where he later served as an expert in liver diseases. He has been actively involved in mentoring PhD students and post-doctoral fellows, while remaining a prolific researcher.
