Artem Dementyev
Hardware Engineer in Google Research
Artem Dementyev is a recent Ph.D. graduate from the MIT Media Lab. In his research, he builds integrated sensor platforms, using his expertise in electronics, PCB design, mechanical design, sensing, low-power embedded systems, signal processing, and machine learning. The application areas fall into many disciplines; tangible and wearable interfaces, robotics, and medicine. His research has been presented at top computers science conferences such as CHI, UIST, and Ubicomp, and received several awards. Artem received an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at the University of Maryland and a Master in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington. Artem worked in Microsoft Research and Google, developing sensor systems.
