Arman Fesharaki-Zadeh
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and of Neurology as well as Medical Director, Neurology at Yale Medicine
Arman Fesharaki-Zadeh, MD, is a behavioral neurologist and neuropsychiatrist at Yale Medicine. In addition to seeing patients and conducting research, he teaches psychiatry and neurology at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and various types of dementia, such as Fronto-Temporal Dementia (FTD).
Currently, Fesharaki-Zadeh is conducting research using animal models to understand traumatic brain injury and chronic traumatic encephalopathy. In addition to conducting research, he also sees patients at Yale memory outpatient clinic.
Fesharaki-Zadeh completed PhD in SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Neuroscience (2018), MD from Ross School of Medicine (2009), BMath from University of British Columbia, Mathematics.
