Aparito was founded in 2014 by Dr Elin Haf Davies to positively impact patients lives. Early in her career as a paediatric nurse, Elin experienced first hand the often redundant, time consuming, and even painful tests that were carried out in order to monitor patients taking part in clinical trials. She also recognised the challenges involved in bringing new and innovative drugs to market in the shortest possible time to improve the lives of people suffering from rare diseases. With 20 years of clinical, research and regulatory experience under her belt, Elin was determined to help people with rare diseases get access to treatments that could genuinely improve the quality of their lives. Her response was to design a patient-centric, remote monitoring solution with the healthcare provider in mind to support the development of new therapies.
