Alanna Durkin

Adjunct Biology Faculty and Science Communicator.

Alanna Durkin is a science communicator, educator, scientific programmer, marine biologist, aspiring data scientist, and superhero enthusiast.

With a Ph.D. in deep-sea biology, she now uses her knowledge and passion for the life sciences to inspire undergraduates to engage with biology as adjunct faculty at Montgomery County Community College and Temple University.

She also continues to apply the quantitative and computer programming skills acquired analyzing ecological data to data science and scientific programming pursuits.
