Adriana Albini

Italian pathologist and cancer researcher

Adriana Albini is Scientific Collaborator of the Directorate of European Institute for Oncology-IEO, in Milan. She is Member of the Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors of AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) and Chair of the "Cancer Prevention Working Group" of the AACR and Professor, Affiliate Faculty - School of Systems Biology, College of Science, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia (USA). A leader in Cancer Research, with a focus on tumour microenvironment and chemoprevention, she has 390 publications in Biomedical Research in peer reviewed journals, h index 100 (scholar), being among the most cited Italian women scientist in biomedical research.

Member of the Scientific Committee of ESO (European School of Oncology), member of editorial boards of scientific journals and Editor-in-Chief of Cancerworld. She has served on the Panel L4 ERC Consolidator Grants and on numerous scientific boards.
