Supervolcano warning time much shorter than thought

According to new findings presented at a geology conference recently the famously potent 'supervolcano' beneath Yellowstone National Park may roar back to life with even less warning than scientists previously thought.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS),  says there's no evidence of an uptick in activity at Yellowstone.

Geologist Jacob Lowenstern told Time Magazine the odds of a super eruption within the next century are about one in 10,000.
