Dr. Nima Nabavizadeh is an Associate Professor of Radiation Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR). He specializes in treating gastrointestinal cancers, including esophageal, liver, pancreatic, and colorectal cancers, as well as lymphoma and leukemia. Dr. Nabavizadeh is also the Program Director of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program at OHSU, where he mentors the next generation of radiation oncologists. His research focuses on developing innovative methods for early cancer detection, and he leads multiple clinical trials aimed at identifying cancers at their earliest stages. Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Nabavizadeh enjoys outdoor adventures and is passionate about restoring his vintage 1990 VW camper van, which serves as a symbol of his love for travel and family experiences.
