Janine Machin

BBC presenter and journalist

Janine joined us as a presenter and reporter in 2007, based in our Cambridge office. She joined the BBC in 2000 after graduating from Oxford University.

Her career began at BBC Radio Stoke, where after answering phones on the station's lunchtime programme, her talent was quickly spotted and she was given her own afternoon show.

From there she went on to co-present the station's breakfast show and became its solo presenter, helping it to become one of the most popular, lively and listened to breakfast shows in BBC Radio Stoke's 40 years of broadcasting.
