Christophe de Jaeger
Physiologist and gerontologist
Dr. Christophe de Jaeger is one of the European leaders in longevity medicine. He began his career by making geriatrics an essential specialty; then, he developed, in France and Europe, the physiology of senescence by focusing his work on the evaluation of physiological age, which is an essential tool for any work on senescence. Dr. Christophe de Jaeger also developed longevity medicine and the notion of the modulation of senescence. He is the founder and president of the French Society of Medicine and Physiology of Longevity, the director of the Institute of Medicine and Physiology of Longevity, and the president of the European Institute of Longevity. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Medicine and Longevity published by Elsevier Masson. He teaches at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science. Christophe de Jaeger has written many popular books for the promotion of health with a vision of longevity and he has also published many scientific articles. He is also an international speaker on the topics previously described.
