Open Access journal from The Lancet publishing clinically-focused at healthy longevity and geroscience research and review.
The Lancet Healthy Longevity is gold open access, multi-disciplinary journal that publishes clinically-focused longevity and healthy ageing research and review. The broad research remit aims to encompass early-stage clinical research into the mechanisms of ageing at any stage of life through to epidemiological and societal research on changing populations, including clinical trials in all disciplines focused, but not exclusively, on older people, gerontological science, and age-specific clinical guidelines.
The journal will also publish clinical and policy reviews which aim to shape and contextualise the debate on this fast-growing discipline. The Lancet Healthy Longevity will continue in the Lancet family tradition of being a strong advocate for the rights of all people to healthy, fulfilling lives, irrespective of age, and prioritises reports of original research that are likely to change clinical practice or thinking.
