Roméo Blanc, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Cell and Regenerative Biology department at the University of Wisconsin’s Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine Center. His lab investigates how aging and inflammation drive stem cell decline—particularly through epigenetic mechanisms like ferroptosis—and is dedicated to developing strategies to preserve and rejuvenate regenerative capacity in muscle and blood stem cells.
