Kat Arney

Storyteller, writer, speaker and broadcaster

Dr Kat Arney is a writer, presenter, podcaster and public speaker, and director of the science communications and media consultancy First Create The Media.

She is the author of the popular science books Herding Hemingway’s Cats: Understanding How Our Genes Work, and How to Code a Human.

Kat is definitely not the female Brian Cox, despite what the internet says. Maybe more like the Nigella of science… She is also one of the “Top 10 Brits who make science sexy”, according to BBC America.
