Dr. Lee is Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, and Director of Biomedical Engineering Program at the Center for Systems Biology (CSB), Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He has extensive experience in nanomaterials, biophysics, microfluidics, and electrical engineering. His research focuses on developing biosensor technologies, and has been pivotal in expanding the biomedical research at CSB. Dr. Lee and his team have developed a host of new technologies optimized for analyses of circulation tumor cells (CTCs), extracellular vesicles (EVs) and other cell-free biomarkers. Most notably, Dr. Lee together with Dr. Weissleder have pioneered the field of point-of-care EV analyses, and are lead inventors of the iMES technology.

Dr. Lee is a recipient of Edward Russell Scholarship at Harvard University, and a Hostetter MGH Research Scholar. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University, and completed his post-doctoral training at MGH.
