PhD student in the BIOS lab at Duke University
Cindy Chen is a PhD student in the BIOS lab at Duke University. She holds a MS in biomedical engineering from Duke University and a B.Eng in electrical and biomedical engineering from McMaster University. During her undergraduate years, Cindy worked on microwave imaging research for breast cancer detection. She also has extensive internship experience in ASIC chip design verification.
Her research interest is focused on high-throughput quantitative phase imaging. She aims to build portable, cost-effective cytometry systems.
