Uduak joined GEN as a senior editor in 2023 after working as a consulting science writer and editor. Previously, she was a writer and editor for a New York City-based think tank and an editor at GenomeWeb, where she covered bioinformatics and computational biology trends in industry and academia for several years. Her work has also appeared in IEEE Bits Magazine. She holds a BA from Calvin University and an MA from New York University.
