Sun Yu
Professor in Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health at Chinese Academy of Sciences
Yu Sun is currently working as a professor in Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health at Chinese Academy of Sciences. Previously, he worked as an assistant professor in the University of Washington.
He completed his Postdoctoral fellow from University of British Columbia and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He holds a PhD from Dalhousie University; completed MS from Chinese Academy of Sciences and BS from Yantai University.
His research interests are focused on studying the influence of tumor microenvironment (TME) on cancer resistance and associated mechanisms, cellular senescence, senescence-associated secretory phenotype and to explore optimal targeting strategies.
