Rob Sambursky
Ophthalmologist and President of Verséa Health
Rob Sambursky currently serves as the President of Verséa Health since August 2022. Sambursky is a practicing, board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in refractive surgery and corneal external and infectious disease. Previously, he worked at Visus Therapeutics, PPK Solutions, RPS Diagnostics, and Lumos Diagnostics, bringing over 20 years of scientific, clinical, and business experience. Rob also worked as a Cornea and Infectious Disease Specialist focusing on Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery at Coastal Eye Institute since July 2005.
He completed his medical internship at Harvard’s Mount Auburn Hospital and both his ophthalmology residency and cornea fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He earned a BA degree in biology from Brown University, an MA degree in medical sciences with concentrations in biochemistry and microbiology from Boston University, and an MD degree from Boston University School of Medicine.
