After growing up in Australia, he studied for a doctorate in Mathematics
in Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar. His work has focussed on genetics and
genomics for the last 15 years, and he feels incredibly fortunate to be
involved in one of the most exciting areas of science. He's now excited
to be building a company that translates some of those discoveries, and
produces direct benefit to patients. From 2007 to 2018 he was Director of
the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics in Oxford.
