Muthiah Vaduganathan

MD MPH cardiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School

He entered the medical field as a part of Northwestern University's Honors Program in Medical Education (HPME). Through this 7-year longitudinal program, he received a bachelor's degree in biological sciences (2008) and a medical doctorate (2012). During his time at Northwestern University (Chicago, IL), he also earned a Master of Public Health degree (2012) and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He subsequently completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA), and served as a Chief Medical Resident at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (Newton, MA).

He is interested in drug development and clinical trials of cardiometabolic therapies. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications.
