Marta Guasch-Ferre is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is also working as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Guasch-Ferre holds a PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology from Rovira i Virgili University. She completed Master in Human Nutrition and Metabolism and BSc in Human Nutrition and dietetics from Barcelona University and Rovira i Virgili University.
Her research interests include to identify the role of Mediterranean diet on type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
She is working on Dietary Interventions, metabolomics, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease in the context of the PREDIMED Study, a randomized clinical trial for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
