Korey Haynes

Freelance science writer, Adjunct Professor at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College

Korey is a freelance science writer and all around space geek. She earned her PhD studying the atmospheres of planets beyond our solar system, then worked as an associate editor at Astronomy magazine. She's also enjoyed leading activities, playing, and learning with visitors at science centers and museums, with students and teachers in classrooms, and with telescopes and guests at public star parties. Now, she fills her time writing about the wonders of space and continuing to reach out through science education, getting kids and communities as excited as she is about the stars.
