Joyce is a senior health correspondent at The Straits Times, where she has spent over a decade reporting on a wide range of health topics, including mental and population health, healthcare policy, and palliative care. She also hosts the ST Health Check podcast. With extensive experience covering mental health, she advocates for open conversations to help reduce stigma. Joyce serves on Singapore’s Bioethics Advisory Committee and is a fellow of the Temasek Foundation–IPS Asia Journalism Fellowship.
