Dr. Jonathan (“Jonny”) Rosenfeld is a leading figure in artificial intelligence research and its applications in biotechnology. He heads the FundamentalAI group at MIT FutureTech, focusing on the foundational safety and performance limits of deep learning and artificial general intelligence (AGI). In 2019, he was among the pioneers of deep learning scaling laws at MIT, contributing significantly to the field's advancement. 

In the industry, Dr. Rosenfeld has directed large-scale research and development teams across disciplines including AI, genomics, physics, and information theory. Currently, he serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Somite.ai, a biotech startup aiming to revolutionize regenerative medicine by applying AI to stem cell biology.
