Dr. Cory Funk is a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) whose work focuses on applying systems biology and network modeling to complex diseases like Alzheimer’s. He earned his PhD in Cell & Developmental Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010. His expertise includes transcriptional regulatory networks (TRNs) and using computational models to decipher disease mechanisms at the systems level.
