Centre for Ageing Research (C4AR)
Research center that conducts high quality interdisciplinary research around ageing, older people and age-related diseases
The Centre for Ageing Research at Lancaster University is a University wide centre, bringing an array of disciplines together to work on the challenges of ageing, locally, nationally and internationally. In addition to discipline specific work, the centre includes members with a range of methods expertise including qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods; experimental, intervention and trials design; epidemiology and health economics, all of which can be offered in different combinations to support research in ageing across the university. C4AR also brings expertise in working in a co-creation capacity with patient groups, health and social care practitioners, lay older adults, and with 3rd Sector providers of health and wellbeing support for older adults.
