Health-technology company
VentriJect is a Danish health-technology company that began as a spinout from Aalborg University and focuses on making fitness and heart-health measurements easier for everyday people. Founded in 2018, the team developed Seismofit, a small medical device that estimates VO₂ max—the key measure of cardiorespiratory fitness—without requiring any exercise. It works by sensing tiny vibrations in the chest caused by each heartbeat and turning them into a fitness score through the VentriJect app. The company has grown quickly across Europe, recently raised €1.7 million, and is now preparing for expansion into the United States.
