Non-profit organisation working on reducing of impact of chronic diseases
The Spanish Institute of Lifestyle Medicine (IEMEV) is a legally constituted, non-profit professional association made up of health providers from different fields and whose main purpose is to reduce the enormous impact of chronic diseases, responsible for 86% of morbidity and mortality in the world (WHO) in which an inadequate lifestyle represents 80% of its etiology.
MEV is a modern approach to healthcare, prevention and treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases by correcting the incorrect lifestyle that a huge segment of the population is immersed in. This breakthrough in preventive medicine opens up new opportunities not only to protect and improve health, but also to influence the course of chronic diseases in a self-healing direction.
