Sara Ward
Chief Operating Officer at the Oxford Academic Health Partners.
Sara has an academic background in biochemistry and genetics; she held research posts in several medical schools in London before relocating to Oxford. She has led the operations for several national research programmes in the social and medical sciences. She and has extensive experience in the general management and has also delivered a range of initiatives working independently.
Prior to joining the Oxford Academic Health Partnership, Sara had oversight of the final year of the NIHR CLAHRC and the early stages of the Oxford and Thames Valley Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) and is committed to the vision and the fundamentally important and exciting opportunities presented by the AHSC.
