I am passionate about robotics and automation systems and, particularly realizing and evaluating concepts through prototyping, integration, programming and testing. I am proficient in mechanical design engineering, kinematics and control analysis and simulation. I’ve invented, designed and developed several robotic systems for medical and industrial applications including a haptically enabled robotic surgical system (HeroSurg) – the first robotic surgical system with haptic feedback, collision avoidance and motion compensation. I am excited about the future and the new opportunities to create innovative solutions to medical and industrial challenges using robotics technology.
