Principal Investigator of the San Diego Institute of Science at Altos Labs
Ken Raj is a Principal Investigator of the San Diego Institute of Science at Altos Labs. He investigate the associations underpinning the ageing-rekated epigenetic changes. Together with Steve Horvarth, Ken will uplipt mouse epigeentic clocks to elucidate genes associated with epigenetic ageing.
He was a member of Procardio, a European consortium which investigates low-dose radiation effects on cardiovascular disease. While still actively carryout research in the laboratory, Ken continues to supervise students. He is also actively involved in public engagement; bringing PHE research to the public in events such as New Scientists Live and through public lectures.
