Jeanna Vasquez is a Communications and Media Relations Manager at UC San Diego Health.

As a public relations professional, her goal is to help educate our community on the importance of protecting our environment through strategic communication efforts that encourage behaviour change. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Media Studies with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in rhetoric from San Diego State University, where she graduated cum laude.

Her experience includes a demonstrated history of working in nonprofit, consumer and health care industries.

Before joining the Executive Committee, Jeanna acted as media relations volunteer for Surfrider Foundation San Diego since 2018.
