Professor in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Cardiff University. He is an Honorary Consultant Physician, Clinical Pharmacologist and Toxicologist to Vale University Health Board and to the National Poisons Information Service, Cardiff. He is a co-opted member of the Advisory Panel on Substance Misuse for the Welsh Government. His research interests include the management of poisoning; adverse drug reactions and cardiovascular disease.
