Erica Tennenhouse is a PhD-trained science journalist based in Toronto, Canada.

In a former life, Erica researched lemurs in Madagascar and reindeer in Finland. She soon realized she much preferred writing about science than doing it. 

Erica has written for National Geographic, Scientific American, New Scientist, Science, and Discover on topics such as contagious cancer in Tasmanian devils, the evolution of dog-human eye contact, and eavesdropping plants. She strives to tell accurate and compelling stories. She is probably working on her next piece right now.
