Vice Dean and Professor of Geriatrics and Aging Biology at University of Lille
Dr. Boulanger has a background in nephrology (MD, Lille University, France). He received his PhD at Paris7 University and did his post-doc at Columbia University, NYC. He started to work on started to work on AGE-RAGE axis in the field of peritoneal dialysis and demonstrated the RAGE implication on peritoneal dysfunction after AGE exposure. He is currently leading the INSERM team “Glycation, from Inflammation to Ageing” at Lille University. Our team demonstrated that high AGE diet accelerated arterial ageing via RAGE and that RAGE invalidation prevented physiological renal ageing. Our team focused now its work on RAGE implication in inflamm-ageing to control physiological aging.
