Elena Rusyn
Physician, scientist and Chief Scientific Officer at American Cell Technology
Dr. Elena Rusyn is a medical scientist dedicated to enhancing the quality and extending the length of the human lifespan. She is Board Certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and has more than 10 years of experience in stem cell research and over 25 years of medical and clinical research training.
Elena has an MD from the prestigious medical school of Bogomolets National Medical University in Kiev, Ukraine. She completed her residency in Allergy and Immunology at the Academy of Postdoctoral Medical Training in Kiev. She continued her medical research and earned a doctorate in Allergy and Immunology with a subspecialty in Clinical Cardiology. After moving to the United States, Elena completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, which was followed by two years at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital followed by one year at Gray Cancer Institute, London, UK and five years at Duke University Medical Center.
She spent a considerable amount of time developing expertise in the areas of anti-aging and regenerative medicine, woman's health, autoimmune disorders, nutrition, stem cell research, along with neurodegenerative and metabolic disorders. Her work has been published in high impact peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Cell Biology, Oncogene, Cancer Research, Cell Host and Microbe, Nutrition and Cancer, Pediatric Research and Journal of Immunology and Allergy.
