Dr. Daniel Steiner is the Senior Vice President of Research & Technology at Molecular Partners AG, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Zürich, Switzerland. In his current role, he leads the research department and oversees the development of the company's proprietary DARPin® platform, a novel class of small protein therapeutics. Dr. Steiner's academic background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich under the mentorship of Dr. Andreas Plückthun, where he established an innovative in vitro selection system for efficiently selecting DARPins targeting complex antigens. Additionally, he completed his undergraduate studies at ETH Zürich and Imperial College London. His contributions have been instrumental in advancing Molecular Partners' research pipeline, particularly in areas such as oncology and radiopharmaceuticals.
