Dr. Benjamin M. Scirica, MD, MPH, is a respected cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and a key leader in cardiovascular innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As Director of Quality Initiatives in the hospital’s Cardiovascular Division and a Senior Investigator with the TIMI (Thrombolysis and Myocardial Infarction) Study Group, he oversees the Electrocardiography Core Laboratory and advances research in novel cardiac biomarkers and treatment strategies for cardiometabolic diseases. Trained at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, with an MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Scirica has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and plays a major role in efforts to enhance patient care quality and cardiovascular research.
