Alexander B. Niculescu is a professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is the Co-founder and CEO of MindXSciences, and staff psychiatrist at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.

Niculescu is the recipient of prestigious national and international awards in the field of psychiatric genomics, and is internationally known for his research work on precision medicine for mental health.
